Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. She is half English and the other half Spanish. The parents of her were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her mother, who is Argentinean of Scottish and English heritage is her mother. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings. One of them is at each one of their parents' prior marriages. The family was originally of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria as Taylor-Joy reached the age of six. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires to Victoria was a struggle and she didn't study English in hopes of going again to Argentina. She had to switch schools between Northlands to Hill House. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes and participated in the drama department. At the age of 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to focus her full-time acting career. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an acting star began at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one to hire her as model for professional models.
