Meagan Good was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles on 8 August 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager while she was in her teens. Her career in acting began at age four. Her family was from Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. Early in her career, she performed as an extra in television shows like Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. In 1995 at 13 she got her first role in the first feature film Friday. In 1997, she first was recognized for her performance in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste who is a troubled teenager. She received her first N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nominee. Good began to take on smaller role in television and films for the next couple of years, before transitioning to more mature roles in the beginning of 2000. On Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter show, she portrayed Nina. Her role was as Nina on Nickelodeon's T.V. series Cousin SKeeter, from 1998 to 2001. In addition, she had small roles on the film House Party, Down to the Very last Minute as well as 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott in the 2003 show My Wife and Kids. In 2004, she starred in D.E.B.S which was an action-comedy film which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. Following this, she appeared in several movies such as Cookout Venom Waist Deep as well as The Love Guru. As of 2012, she was performing on T.V. As well as in movies in which she starred as Mya as well as Ms. Stevens respectively in Think Like a Man starring the entire cast as well as Dysfunctional Friend starring a small group.
