She earned an MS diploma in Nutrition and Health Education as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certificate from the International Sports Science Association. Ziegler has also dedicated her energy and time to Breast Cancer walks as well as serving as a counsellor for young people of Camp Del Corazon - an charity that helps children suffering from heart diseases. She keeps donating platelets and blood at the Children's Hospital frequently. A bodybuilder and actor on TV, she's appeared in shows like Bones Castle, Cold Case and Hawaii Five-0. In 2015, she became an athlete sponsored by Dymatize.
